Survivors Remember School Fire 50 Years Later


It was one of the worst disasters in U.S. school history. 92 students and 3 nuns at Our Lady of the Angels School in Chicago were killed when a fire burning in a basement trash can spread throughout the building on December 1, 1958. (November 29)

School Safety Partners is dedicated to creating long-term funding partnerships to support school safety best practices.
