Social media makes Nigerian teens’ kidnapping a worldwide cause


Girls at the Ursuline School in New Rochelle, New York, wore red in solidarity with those protesting the slow response to the abduction of Nigerian schoolgirls. The kidnapping occurred on April 15, but the story did not gain traction online until April 23, when two Nigerians tweeted, “Bring back our daughters.” Michelle Miller reports.
